The HR Business Partner will represent the HR Department and work as an internal consultant for the assigned unit/district and plays an enabling business support role by providing input across a range of HR issues and delivering high impact HR solutions to meet the business needs of the unit/district. The HRBP business partner assesses and anticipates any human resources-related needs and informs the HR department. The HR Business Partner also assists in talent acquisition and development, organization design and HR operations.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor Degree in Management, Human Resources Management or related discipline from a reputable university
  • Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Human Resource Management or related discipline from a reputable university is an added advantage Professional qualification(s) in Human Resources is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of Seven (7) years relevant experience.
  • Technical experience in Human Resources and/or Business  Administration.
  • Ability to translate general/broad performance goals into specific, Measurable indicators.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Ethiopian employment and labour relations law.
  • Knowledge of best and current HR practices and approaches
  • Experience of conducting training needs analys’s.
  • Experience of developing and delivering trainings.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development.
  • Ability to lead the analysis of employee feedback and data, with the aim of creating a better working environment and engaged culture.
  • Project management skills.

2.District Head, IFB (3 positions)

Job Description

Location: Bahir dar, Dessie, Mekele

District Head, Interest Free Banking will deliver exceptional business performance through implementing customer acquisition strategies for the region in line with the Interest Free Banking business strategy. District Head, Interest Free Banking will be responsible for attracting, deepening and managing financial relationship to meet deposits and financing growth goals, achieve business growth for the Bank’s IFB market segment, promote and sell other products and services of the Bank to enhance value-add relationship with existing customers.

Job Requirement

  • BA degree in business administration, Marketing Management, Accounting, banking, finance or related field.
  • Master’s degree in business administration, banking, finance or related field is an added advantage.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Islamic banking, finance or related field is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience out of which 2 years in supervisory post
  • Good knowledge of IFB mode of finance/Investment an associated risks.
  • Working knowledge of Shari’ah principles pertaining to IFB business.
  • Knowledge and experience in modern sales and marketing practices in financial service industry to provide visionary guidance on strategies changes to drive performance.
  • Strong negotiation skills to prospect and close business.
  • Networking skills to effectively leverage on relationship that will understanding of Interest Free Baking (IFB) operations, IFB  Deposit & Investment/financing products.  enhance customer acquisition and retention.
  • Extensive banking background, including understanding credit,  risk Management, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior level leaders regarding key business priorities, issues and initiatives.

3.Manager, Performance Management

Job Description

The Manager, Performance Management is responsible for planning and implementing all activities related with employees performance management as per the approved policies, procedures and guidelines. The job holder will link individual job performance to the attainment of the Bank’s vision, mission and strategic goals, provide guidance in performance appraisal and in providing feedback/remedial actions.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor Degree in Management, Business Administration or related discipline from a reputable university.

Job Requirement

  • Experience in office Administration
  • Knowledge on Occupational Health and Safety law and procedures
