1.Associate Network Technician

Job Description

  • Monitors network activity, computing system performance, and facility environmental status from NOC ensuring high availability and attainment of service levels goals.
  • Controls physical security and site access to IT critical facilities to ensure security policies and procedures are followed and enforced.
  • Effectively communicates and escalates incidents, problems, event alarms and service fulfillment requests.
  • Responsible for maintaining IT critical facilities physical infrastructure standards for space, power, cooling, and data networking.
  • Maintains spare parts inventory levels for cable, racks, and server parts to ensure adequate server installation consumables are on hand to permit timely installation of new data center hardware.
  • Handles all DC equipment inventory, labeling, and documents equipment cabinet layout.

Job Requirement

  • Level IV in Electrical and control systems, Electro-Mechanical or BSc Degree in Computer Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 4/1 years’ experience for Level IV/BSc Degree qualification working with electrical / mechanical systems.
  • Experience in data center operations & facilities is preferred.
  • Operational experience with Data Center equipment that includes but not limited to generators, UPS, PDU, Chillers, HVAC, and Fire Extinguishing.

3.Data Center Project Consultant

Job Description

  • Establish initial overall plan of new Data Center projects, including defining the time schedule, scope, risk analysis and resource estimates.
  • Engage as a member of a DC project technical evaluation team in the process of validating the bidders offer whether or not they are according to the RFP of the bank and in line with industry standards.
  • Drive coordinated efforts that impact timelines new DC construction and migration of the existing DC infrastructure.
  • Ensure alignment with DC project manager and technical teams as well as project managers on other teams to enable timely delivery of the project.
  • Handle communications of project progress to stakeholders, and define initial communication paths. Lead and define all local collaboration channels such as meetings, groups and reports.
  • Provides overall consultancy support and management of a project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.

Job Requirement

  • BSc. Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or related discipline.
  • Certification in DC Specialist and PMP is preferred
  • 3+ years of technical project management experience in a data center environment. (Direct experience in planning, managing, scheduling, as well as hands-on & direct commissioning of equipment and systems in DC or mission critical environments)
  • 5+ years of experience working in a technical IT environment, from which 2+ years’ experience as technical teams lead.
  • Have a strong technical and working knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical systems and services supporting mission critical DC environments. Including MV/LV Distribution switch gear, ATS, Standby Generators, UPS, Chillers, CRACs, ancillary mechanical cooling systems plant, and building Automation & Monitoring systems.
  • Experience in communication, building relationships, consensus and removing roadblocks.
  • Experience getting the project moving until all has been identified and clarified.
  • The applicant must have proven proficiency in Afaan Oromo, Amharic and English Languages.
